Tell me, how did you become our client? Why did you choose Searchanise over other search apps?
Armin: I heard about your app from our Singapore team. They were the first Sennheiser team to use Searchanise. And from then, I started to implement Searchanise in other stores, including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Global Sennheiser E-shop. We widely use it not only for search on the website but also for upselling and cross-selling products. So that's how we get together.
Сan you please elaborate on which problems or needs you had before realizing that you need a smart search?
Armin: We were very unhappy with the search results the basic Shopify search provided. Our product names include dashes, numbers, spaces, and the search results were not always relevant. So we wanted to improve the search capabilities of our store and used your app to do it.

How did your team realize that the site search is vital for your website and conversion rate?
Armin: From time to time, we check the quality of the website. And we've also tested the search functionality by searching our main products, putting in typos, writing product names with a dash or without a dash, etc.
Some of our product names can be spelled differently. For example, you can type "HD 450BT" or "HD 450". The standard Shopify search was not throwing the result all the time. And your app can show relevant search results no matter what the customers are putting in.

How did you find the installation process? Did you face any particular problems during installation and configuration?
Armin: No, not really. As I mentioned before, one of our teams had already implemented Searchanise, and I could just copy and paste the settings from their theme and adjust it to other Shopify stores we have.
What app features do you find the most useful for your business?
Armin: Typo corrections and analytics are great. For example, you can see search queries with zero results in analytics, which is very useful.
Also, I use the upselling and cross-selling functionality in most of the stores. We can definitely feel that the revenue is coming from it. These are the things I like most.

What's your overall impression from using Searchanise?
Armin: I must say that your app is really well structured. I had no problems with configuration, everything was smooth and easy.
How do you measure the importance and impact of site search for you in general?
Armin: That is really important because customers usually come to our store to search for a specific product. They already know what they want, for example, Momentum Wireless 2.
They can simply type in "Momentum 2" and the suggestions help them to find the product they are looking for, as we have another product with a similar name:
