Greetings, and welcome to the latest Searchanise release notes! We are excited to announce a game-changing feature that is particularly beneficial for large stores using multiple themes – the ability to temporarily deactivate the app during the setup process. This new feature will greatly streamline the customization process and lead to a more positive user experience. In addition to this update, we have other new features and improvements that we will cover in detail. Read on to learn more about the updates.

Turn off the App on a Specific Theme before Making Changes

We’ve just released the most requested feature, which makes customizing the app easier than ever. You can temporarily deactivate the app on a particular theme while setting it up. To do so, just follow these simple steps.

The new feature provides a more seamless and hassle-free customization experience. You can take the time you need to make changes without worrying about the impact on your customers, as they will only see the final result once you reactivate the app on a specific theme.

As a result, the transition to a new design will be smoother, ultimately leading to a more positive user experience for both you and your customers.

Control Panel Improvements

Enjoy a Clearer List of Settings!

Our app offers high customization options and a lot of features, which is why it has numerous settings. To enhance your navigational experience, we have re-designed the sidebar containing settings in the control panel, making it more straightforward:

Don't worry about finding the settings you're used to. We've made a quick onboarding to show you where everything is when you first enter the control panel.

Use Full-Screen Mode

When you're setting up the app, you can expand the app's control panel to full screen to view more settings and scroll less. Just press the "Enter full screen" button at the top-right corner of the control panel.

Display a Quick View Button on Mobile

Now you can add a Quick View button to product cards in the search results on mobile too. The feature aims to reduce the number of clicks required for customers to complete a purchase. With the Quick View button, customers can preview products and make purchasing decisions faster, resulting in a higher conversion rate for your store.
