This March, we've rolled out updates to Searchanise Search & Filter to help you better understand your store's performance and make product discovery even more personalized for your shoppers.

Recently Viewed Products

We are excited to introduce a new addition to our growing recommendations toolkit: Recently Viewed Products Widget. The widget automatically displays products that a shopper has recently browsed, making it effortless for them to pick up right where they left off. It's a proven way to re-engage visitors and nudge them toward a purchase - all with zero extra effort.

Available on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento

Get started in 5 simple steps

  1. Go to Searchanise Control Panel > Merchandising & Promo > Recommendations > General tab
  2. Click the + button in the top-right corner
  3. Select Recently Viewed Products as the widget type
  4. Configure visibility duration, title, and installation method
  5. Click Create widget

We've made significant improvements to our Comprehensive Analytics this month — both in the depth of data available and how it's organized.

Richer Search Query Data

The Search Queries report now gives you a complete picture of how each individual search term performs — from the moment a customer types it in, to the click and to the sale. New metrics added:

  • Revenue – total revenue generated from products purchased after a specific search query
  • Products Bought – number of products purchased following a search query
  • CTR (Click-through rate) – how often a search query leads to clicks (Clicks related to the query ÷ Queries)
  • CR (Conversion rate) – how often a search query leads to purchases (Orders related to the query ÷ Queries)

💡 Note: Query data is available from April 8, 2025. Product, revenue, and conversion data are available from October 22, 2025.

Introducing Product Performance

The new Product Performance tab complements product-level analytics by combining the Products Clicked and Products Bought reports into a single view. It shows key metrics — clicks, purchases, revenue, and conversion rate — grouped by product instead of search queries, making it easy to see which products your search performs best for.

  • Clicks – total number of times the product was clicked from search results
  • Clicks in ISW – clicks specifically from the Instant Search widget
  • CTR (Click-through rate) – how often users click on this product after seeing it in search results (Clicks ÷ Impressions)
  • Products Bought – how many times the product was purchased after being found via search
  • Revenue – total income generated by the product via search
  • CR (Conversion rate) – how often a click on this product leads to a purchase (Orders ÷ Clicks)
